Georgetown Aquadillo 2014

My second favorite time of year is Aquadillo season.
We get to spend every Saturday catching up with other families and making new friends each.
The beginning of home meets are extra special because all the Georgetown kids get to shout out the Dillo Chant to get pumped up.

The 6&U boys are especially cute, and I'm not saying that because my kid is one of them.
I love to hear their random conversation topics while in line at the ready bench.

Tailgating on a Saturday morning has taken on a whole new meaning.

The great thing about the Aquadillo team is that we get a lot of support from Southwestern University. Two of the swim coaches at SU are Aquadillo coaches. They also have a couple of collegiate swimmers that coach as well.
Coach Adrian is Drew's coach this year & the two of them are peanut butter and jelly.

Every race thus far Drew has come won his heat.

The boys: Drew, Jackson, Asher & Aiden

Here's part of the Aquadillo team, my lens would not allow me to get the full team.

Ainsley's moving on up

May 6th was Ainsley's pre-pre K ceremony.
They called it a "graduation" however I'm not a big fan of celebrating my
3 year old "graduating" from her class and moving into the room next door.
But I put on a happy face and went with it.

We are going to miss her teacher Mrs. Asfon.
She is retiring from Eagle Wings & GISD this year.

Congratulations Ainsley!
You have successfully moved up into the next class.

Lake LBJ- High School Reunion

Over Mother's Day weekend we got together with Andy's high school friends.
We planned this weekend trip last summer and hopefully we can continue it's tradition.

It was our first time to see Lothery's new baby girl Savannah.
She is the most laid back 6 month old I've ever seen!!!
We played A LOT of "pass the baby".

The boys played.
The kids swam.
The girls laid out.

The '99 MacArthur Brahma crew:
Andy, Laura, David, Brent, Blake and Sean.

The entire crew.

We loved that the house had this huge table so we could all sit and enjoy dinner together.

An added plus, an outdoor fire place for s'mores.
Thanks to Sean who set everything up and made it easy for us girls.

May Fiesta's

We had several "Fiesta's" during May. One of them was at the Round Rock Express
game with the Grissom's.  Our school through a fundraiser event there so we hung
out with lots of friends and teachers.

We were lucky enough to have Spike stop by for a quick visit.

We threw together a last minute Cinco de Mayo party at our house with the Grissom's & Bocella's.
Thanks for the photo bomb Jackson.

The boys had fun hitting golf balls outside our fence which is a real treat!!!
Thanks to all the BC golfers for hitting 100's of golf balls in our yard.
It allows us for endless opportunities like this.

The best thing about having Fiesta's is the heavy sleep the kids get to have.
